Brain Food!

Avocados keep the mind alert and focused. Avocados help with cognition and are packed with healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, and many other nutrients. Guacamole is a favorite of mine. Here is a quick and easy guacamole recipe!

Guacamole

2 avocados

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 tomato, chopped

1 lime, juiced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

1 teaspoon ground pepper

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

I have a blueberry cluster recipe that includes blueberries, dark chocolate, and pumpkin seeds. The cluster is a treat for you and your brain. Blueberries help with short-term memory, improves learning, and motor skills. Dark chocolate improves blood flow to the brain and helps you focus.  Pumpkin seeds keep sensory functions intact and boost your energy. You should have your cluster with a cup of hot green tea. Green tea assists with memory loss and improves brain function.

Blueberry Bites

12 ounce dark chocolate

2 cups pumpkin seeds

1 ½ dried blueberries

Sea salt, optional

The bites are super easy to make. You need to melt the dark chocolate, mix the ingredients together, and put a tablespoon of the mixture onto waxed paper. Form the mixture into a cluster shape and transfer the bites to the fridge. Easy Peasy! I hope you enjoy!
